settling into my new place and hopefully new life.

Ok... so I am gonna tell you the story of my day today......as most of you know I am tryin to start school very soon... the sooner the better right....? ok so I have been here for less than a week and I am pretty much settled in , I have got all my ducks in a row cept where school is concerned. So I have been goin to all the schools in the surrounding areas to find out about the programs, what they have to offer, what the training offers, price, distance from home etc. etc. Most of them, pretty much Ghetto. Not acceptable. So I decided to check out Miss Marty's up in the city.....I get the appointment set up and now I find out that I will be taking the bart up there, pretty much 5 days a week....it takes about an Hr. to get there from the closest bart station ( and its like $5.25 one way so it will be over 10 bux a day to commute). Well things were going well, till Adam tells me that to get to San Francisco we go UNDER the bay on the train... that kinda freaks me out....(especially if you know how much earthquakes freak me out) well not in a psycho sort of way just in a panic attack kind of way... I get over it really quick because my excitement gets the best of me.

Anyway, we get up to the school and I am already impressed.... I love the atmosphere, I love the programs that are available...(I got to sit in a 2 classes) and the financial aid is awsome......So I get alot of the paper work done... so I will prolly start May 8 and if that is not enough time to get everything ready then I will start late July...

I have decided that I am going to go with the C.I.D.E.S.C.O program instead of just the Esthetics courses... It will be a full one yr program instead of just the 4 months I was anticipating, but anyone who knows me knows that if Im going to start something I will go the full nine....(My last school endeavor was an 18 month business program that I finished in 12 months while working full time and taking care of my children.....Im anticipating things should be a bit easier this time 1 because I have a better support system, 2 Im not currently working full time, and 3 the kids are not with me right now......)But I am doing all this for them.... I am missing them terribly right now and Im gonna miss them some more but I really need to get through this....I will hopefully not have to work 2 friggin jobs to support them when I am done with this... so everyone will benefit from it! I know things are gonna be hard but it seems that as soon as I decided to move up here things started to really just fall into place... (wierd how that happens)

The CIDESCO Diplomat

Because of the variety of skills attained with this certification, such as; body massage, manicure, pedicure, lymphatic drainage, skin and body analysis, a CIDESCO diplomat can perform a variety of services in a salon or spa. Other components of CIDESCO are; machine treatment including faradic, galvanic, vacuum suction, vibratory, G5, or similar, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, exfoliation, body analysis, micro- dermabrasion, aromatherapy, day and camouflage make up.

Needless to say I have had a pretty darned exciting day today....and its not even over yet!.. I still have lots of paper work to read and fill out and have more to do lists to make....hhmm yeah, fun for me.



So anyway, just to give you a mini update on things and answer some of the questions I have been asked lately:

I am pretty gosh darn excited about the way things are going and I feel that I am where I need to be to accomplish my goals....Sometimes I wonder why it took me so long to make the right decisions to get here but I cannot focus on that kind of stuff... I have to keep focusing on the positive and looking forward....

Yes, for those of you who have been asking me if I like my new place... I love it.... I have some friends scattered in various places around the Bay... hopefully I will have time soon to visit you... if not, Im closer to you now, bring your butts over here!=).....

My apartment is awsome, (I have a gym downstairs, pool, jacuzzi, and computer room) my roommate is Awsome very supportive and I am surrounded by music. I could not ask for much more at this time.

I am still a bit reluctant to go out and make new friends as soon I will not have time for the ones that I already have... but I am a bit curious.....you know me... I am too damn social for my own good sometimes... hopefully when I do get a job, I will be doing something fun and meeting new people....

Well, I really havent had much time for the computer and have not been able to keep in touch with alot of you... I have had one of my Aunts and a couple of my cousins join me on my page here and havent had much time for chit chat lately... go ahead, everyone and leave your messages... I will respond eventually or i will just call you....
