HURRICANE DOLLY
OH..GEEZ ANOTHER YEAR AND ANOTHER WEATHER THREAT THIS TIME PREDICTIONS OF THIS STORM IS TOWARDS THEE AREA WHERE I AM AT. I LIVE IN THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY AS YOU ALL MAY ALREADY KNOW IF YOU HAD READ MY PREVIOUS BLOG ABOUT OUR WEATHER IN SOUTH TEXAS.
I HAVE ALREADY TOOK APROPPRIATE PREPARATIONS LIKE CANNED FOODS,WATER,BATTERIES, ETC.. AND ANY USFUL ESSENTIALS ONE NEEDS FOR INCASE OF A HURRICANE.
I LIVED HERE PRETTY MUCH ALL MY LIFE AND THESE TYPE OF STORMS ARE NORMAL FOR US DOWN IN SOUTH TEXAS. I LOVE THE AREA I AM CLOSE TO THE BEACH AND I LOVE THE OUTDOORS BUT WITH THE PACKAGE COMES WITH ITS CONSEQUNCES. AH..WELL WHAT CAN YOU DO...MOVE..I THINK NOT...
I AM NOT EVACUATING REASON BECAUSE I DO NOT ANTICPATE THE SEVERITY OF THIS STORM TO BE ANY GREATER THAN WHAT IT ALREADY IS... A TROPICAL STORM...ACCORDING TO OUR LOCAL METEOROLOGIST DOLLY HAS NOT STRENGTHEN SINCE IT PASSING THRU THE YUCATAN PENNINSULA. NOW THE HURRICANE FORCE WINDS MIGHT INVADE OUR AREA.
I'VE EXPERIENCE SOME HURRICANES IN THE PAST. THE MEMORABLE ONES THAT I CAN RECALL WERE HURRICANE ALAN IN 81 AND HURRICANE GILBERT IN 88.
ANYBODY WHO LIVES AROUND THE AREA OF THE PATH OF THE STORM ALL I CAN SAY IS BE SAFE...I'LL TRY TO DO THE SAME.
