- I'm a husband, father, brother, disabled Vet, Paramedic/CISM and because of a back injury; I am having to go back to school to become an RN. I enjoy long walks, (off short bridges). Family time is the best, never seem to get enough of that! I have a beautiful wife, daughter and a handsome baby BOY. I love the outdoors, camping and shooting, FUN! Okay...Gees. Kenneth said… - Good to have you as a friend!!! I know your pain w/ the back injury.I had a L-5/S-1 fusion 3 yrs. ago and it only got worse(pain).The best thing for it besides meds. is lots of walking to avoid muscle atrophy.That can sometimes be worse than back pain.
