- There is nothing more metal than climbing frozen water falls in sub-zero weather. I am an amazonian rock and ice climber from Flatlands, Brooklyn. A self taught metalhead nerdy bridge and tunnel goil. I like to read detective novels and history books, I watch too much tv -- but good tv, I love to cook and eat, and dream in film noir. I run, hike & climb ice, rocks and wee mountains. I like to learn, teach, train dogs, talk and cause trouble.

- I believe there is a gem in every genre of music. I grew up listening to a heady mix of Irish traditional, classic rock and 50s be bop. I later got into metal and hardcore, new wave and disco (yes disco), progressive and jazz. Some of my favorite bangs include: Afghan Whigs, Anthrax, Bauhaus, Bjork, Kate Bush, Black Sabbath, the boss, celtic frost, the chairman, coltrane, Corrosion of Conformity, crumbsuckers, cro-mags, Crowbar, Davis, Death, Dino, DKM, Down, Eire Og, the Fourtops, Ghostface, Heart, Kelis, Led Zeppelin, Mastodon, , metallica, MJB, Nas, NIN, Pink Floyd, PJ Harvey, Possessed, Radiohead, S. Rollins, Run DMC, Sexpod, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Slayer, Social Distortion, Seanchai, Testament, Tool, Twilight Singers, Roger Waters, The Wu.
