- I own a comic book shop and 31 other domains on the internet. Where to start...been listening to Hard Rock, heavy Metal, and Thrash since I was 11 years old...and always hoped one day I could get into the Industry. Bought my first guitar at age 12, it was a no-name small sized red guitar that came with a small but effective Gorilla amp! Since then I have owned 5 guitars altogether and my love of music has grown from them days on!!
Got tricked into the military at age 16 by my Special Forces Sergeant Major father of mine! He asked me if I wanted a job, and as i had a guitar fund need at the time, I figured sure I'll take the job! Next thing you know i am in Boot Camp at Ft. Jackson, SC and stayed in the military for I think 6-7 years before Honorable Discharged! Was In the green, in 91-92 over in Saudi Arabia for the whole Desert Shield/Desert Storm campaign...total of 1 1/2 years under the 17th Airbourne Division, 157th SIB (Seperate Infantry Brigade) Mechanised...which means we drove the tanks to support the airborne troops falling from the sky...we were Rolling Thunder! 20 tons of super-charged hell on tracks! That was were I hurt my back yanking a .50Cal Machine Gun that was smokin hot, yanked it out and had a new .50Cal installed in less then 3 minutes flat, which i believe is a record! My main occupation was deemed Supply Sergeant, but I tended to stray to more of a weapons specialist after the war....still had a love for music that kept growing as you would always hear Metallica, Priest, or Maiden coming out of my weapons vault!
Anyway, I eventually came to realise that i did not believe in what our government was after so at first possible chance i got out of the military in 97'. Moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in 98 and have had been here since as this city is beautiful...but loud! My wife and I met through some mutual friends of ours and ever since then have been side by side! We own our own condo, i still have two guitars, and we own our car and run a media company with 32 domains under it's belt! These sites are listed at http://3sfmedia.com and has done very very well for it's first year in, especially the comic book store of which is my pride and glory! I had the chance to open shop and I snagged it as that is the only way to get through life right? Done pretty well with the comic business as they are better then CD's in the bank!! They never depreciate like stocks and bonds do!!! The prices of my comics will continue to rise due to the popularity of the Marvel movies that have been making 49 million in one weekend! Taking in almost 200,000,000 on the Spider-Man movies have quadrupled the prices of the key backissues I own...i think the bank estimated my comic book shop at around 75,000 dollars and rising!!
