Slipknot's the nu-metal explosion band of the late '90s.lead vocalist Corey Taylor,guitarist Mick Thompson,guitarist James Root,bassist Paul Grey,drummer Joey Jordison,DJ Sid Wilson,sampler/programmer Craig Jones and percussionist Chris Fehn formed Slipknot in late 1995 at Des Moines, IA.
