Right dude? I know what you're both saying about the lyrical content but personally, I think that was to be expected given the whole transformation Phil's gone through since the last record. You all probabally know what I mean: Cold sober, health nut ect. I think phil has just got a new perspective on life given the experiences he's had since dime's death and being in Louisianna during Katrina. There's an interesting interview with him in decible that tells the story waaaaaay fuckin better than I could.

I agree, the record's different but Phil's still a hero of mine. I agree with you Kandice about NOLA though, definitely my favorite down record as well.

I met vinnie paul 2 summers ago here in calgary. He was going city to city doing signings in support of rebel meets rebel and dimevision. He was such a genuine guy, big bear hugs and lots of pictures. He was so easy to talk to, no ego at all. One of the best moments of my life. He signed my shit and my wifes shit too, I think she may have a crush on him since then.

The funny part was this was before anyone knew about hellyeah and its weird because he said *see ya next year* and i wasn';t sure what to think and he signed my poster *Hey Matt Hell Yeah! 2007* I'm so blind! haha

After what Phil said about our brother Dime.... "The right things happen, to the right people" ... I can't support him...... Phil's a loser..... a heroin using loser...... or at least he was.... I dunno nowadays.... But this new project he has Arson anthem, with another heroin addict, the singer from Eyehategod. I always thought higher of Phil..... but that's what heroin will do to a person......
