If Dave Mustaine had never left Metallica then the band (metallica) would had been vary good in performing their own stuff.

not. he'd have been too suppressed and strangled. he had more time and creative freedom outside. Now we have two great bands, thats how i think of it.

dave did not leave metallica, he was fired because of his substance abuse problems,but i think if he was still in the band ,his talent to write and play blows away kirk and metallica would be the biggest band in the world. dave is a great talent.long live megadeth

I love Kirk far too much and since being dropped from Metallica, Dave went on to make some pretty bad ass music with Megadeth. He only whines about it because he would rather be apart of the success that Metallica has had. That's just lame. He shouldn't resent what happened in the past. He should be appreciative of the dedicated and adoring fans he has made with his own band, despite whether or not it's as large of a fan base he may have gotten with Metallica. But I agree, let's have two great bands.
